The inaugural event will take over the entire W Scottsdale from 30 September to 2 October, with electric performances, meet and greets, and unexpected experiences popping up in various places throughout the hotel. The music festival will then travel annually to different W Hotels around the world, with the soon-to-open W Las Vegas slated to host the three-day bash in 2017.The first ever WAKE UP CALL: a W Hotels Music Festival will feature performances by Bebe Rexha, Cee Lo Green (DJ set), De La Soul, Jess Glynne, Kungs, Lost Frequencies, Matoma, MayerHawthorne and Nico & Vinz, with additional artists to be announced. Music-lovers will enjoy a diverse schedule even after the music stops, including afternoon pool parties at W Scottsdale’s WET pool deck; morning FUEL fitness class with POUND, the rockstar-inspired cardio drumming workout, complete with mimosas and pressed juice bar; Bliss Spa pop-ups with makeup and nail touchups; VIP Lounges; and more music-inspired extras.“Music has been a defining characteristic of W Hotels since the brand’s inception, and transforming one of the hottest W Hotels into a weekend-long music festival allows our guests to never miss a beat from check in to check out,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader, W Hotels Worldwide. “WAKE UP CALL breaks the boundaries of traditional music festivals, fully immersing music-lovers from the moment they walk through the door. Combined with our recently announced W Sound Suite music studios and the brand’s history as a platform for emerging musicians, this is just another way that W provides insider access to new/next artists for our guests.”Ticket packages for WAKE UP CALL: a W Hotels Music Festival went on sale on Tuesday 20 August and include a three-night stay at W Scottsdale, two all-access passes to the three-day festival, and two limited edition Jeremy Scott x W Hotels bucket hats, starting at $349 for rooms and $549 for suites.
